Keibul Lamjao National Park
The park is located in the southwestern part of Lake Loktak. This is the last natural park for the brow-antlered deer (Sangai) Manipur dance deer. Keibul Lamjao National Park is the only floating park in the world. A glimpse of the deer in this unique swamp is a must for any wildlife lover. Other wildlife to be seen include: Hog Deer, Otter, dozens of seabirds and migratory birds, the latter most commonly seen from November to March. The Manipur Forest Department takes care of the viewing towers and the two lounges inside the park. Shooting game is not allowed there.
