  Ima Keithel is a unique market where only Ima(Mother) run the stalls around 3000 imas(mother) run the market everyday coming from different part of the states. It is located at the center of Imphal, Manipur. Different kinds of product are available here including local handlooms and handicrafts and many more. 

Moreh ( India Myanmar border)

 Moreh is a border town located in India-Myanmar border. Its is a huge commercial hub, and economists suggested that it could become a bustling city in the next couple of decades. Moreh plays a very important role in connection with the India-Myanmar relationship and is also a rapidly developing trade point in India on the border with Myanmar, with the city of Tamu on the other side of the border. The Indo-Myanmar Friendship Bridge in Moreh connects India to Kalewa in Myanmar's Sagaing Devision. It is 110 kilometers from the Imphal Manipur in the Indo-Myanmar road(NH102).

  The first bullet was fired by the British on March 24, 1891, without offending Manipuris. In the days of fighting in the capital Manipur, about 50 Manipuri people including Pukhramba Tanka, Khumbong Subedar, Leisang Jamadar and Athokpa Dewan laid down their lives. Two Tangkhuls were also among those killed hand in hand. Lt. Brackenbary and other sepoys in the British Army lost their lives on the British side. Following the attack on the palace, due to the need for a crowd in Manipuri, unidentified British officials were killed. But surprisingly, on April 4, 1891, the Manipuris released 51 Hindustani sepoys (Indian sepoys from the British Army) for Rs. 5 each with his own journey to different places. Therefore, the situation of the Manipuri crowd in the Hindu areas of the British Army was different. Shirui Hill Ukhrul

Shirui Lily is the Sate flower of Manipur. And it is grown only in Shiri Hill Ukhrul  in Manipur. The most famous peak is Shirui Kashung Peak - 2835 m from sea level. Most of the major rivers flow from the cracks and crevices of the Shirui Peak. Shirui is 18 kilometers from Ukhrul Town and 97 kilometers from Imphal. It is home to the world-famous Shirui (Siroy) (Lilium Mackliniae) .The name Shirui Lily comes from the British botanist F. Kingdom Ward which in 1948 discovered a variation of this lily flower. The place name of this history is Kashong Timrawon. According to local legends Kashong Timrawon also has a protective atmosphere living in Shirui Peak. Every year thousands of Scientists and Visitors from all over the world come to see this precious flower. Shirui lily-looking flower blooms on a hill in May - June.

Kangla Fort

The seat of Manipur power until 1891, a historical manifestation of the rulers of Manipur and the people of Manipur, Kangla has a special place in the hearts and minds of the people of Manipur. The old Govindajee Temple, the outer and inner canal and other remains are perfect representations of the rich architecture and architectural treasures of Manipur. khoupum valley

  Khoupum village, the second largest village in Manipur is located 81 km from Imphal on Old Cachar Road. It is inhabited by the Rongmei tribe of Manipur. In the village of Khoupum, one can see the world's largest dam, rivers, the Khukdai Cave and the beautiful natural waterfall, 'Khouduang' which has become a picnic spot.

Dzuko Valley

  Dzuko Valley is a valley located on the border of the Manipur and Nagaland regions of northeastern India. The valley is known for its natural habitat, seasonal flowers , natural beauty, plants and animals  I t is located at an altitude of 2452 meters above sea level. The valley is usually famous for its variety of flowers but the most famous is Dzuko Lily and is found only in this valley. In winter travel can enjoy the beautiful snowfall in Dzuko valley.

Keibul Lamjao National Park

  The park is located in the southwestern part of Lake Loktak. This is the last natural park for the brow-antlered deer (Sangai) Manipur dance deer. Keibul Lamjao National Park is the only floating park in the world. A glimpse of the deer in this unique swamp is a must for any wildlife lover. Other wildlife to be seen include: Hog Deer, Otter, dozens of seabirds and migratory birds, the latter most commonly seen from November to March. The Manipur Forest Department takes care of the viewing towers and the two lounges inside the park. Shooting game is not allowed there.

Loktak Lake

  Loktak lake is the largest natural fresh water lake in India. It is located in Moirang about 45 km away from Imphal the capital of Manipur India. One can see the beautiful Loktak from the window of their plane if they travel to Manipur via air. Traveler can stay on the floating house i.e. made over the phumdis and enjoy waking up in the middle of lake with beautiful of Loktak lake with a cup of tea from the window of their stay.
