Moreh ( India Myanmar border)

 Moreh is a border town located in India-Myanmar border. Its is a huge commercial hub, and economists suggested that it could become a bustling city in the next couple of decades. Moreh plays a very important role in connection with the India-Myanmar relationship and is also a rapidly developing trade point in India on the border with Myanmar, with the city of Tamu on the other side of the border. The Indo-Myanmar Friendship Bridge in Moreh connects India to Kalewa in Myanmar's Sagaing Devision.


It is 110 kilometers from the Imphal Manipur in the Indo-Myanmar road(NH102).

Shirui Lily is the Sate flower of Manipur. And it is grown only in Shiri Hill Ukhrul  in Manipur. The most famous peak is Shirui Kashung Peak - 2835 m from sea level. The place name of this history is Kashong Timrawon. According to local legends Kashong Timrawon also has a protective atmosphere living in Shirui Peak.   The first bullet was fired by the British on March 24, 1891, without offending Manipuris. In the days of fighting in the capital Manipur, about 50 Manipuri people including Pukhramba Tanka, Khumbong Subedar, Leisang Jamadar and Athokpa Dewan laid down their lives. Two Tangkhuls were also among those killed hand in hand. Lt. Brackenbary and other sepoys in the British Army lost their lives on the British side. Following the attack on the palace, due to the need for a crowd in Manipuri, unidentified British officials were killed. But surprisingly, on April 4, 1891, the Manipuris released 51 Hindustani sepoys (Indian sepoys from the British Army) for Rs. 5 each with his own journey to different places. Therefore, the situation of the Manipuri crowd in the Hindu areas of the British Army was different.
